International tourists have entered Iran on a tour reorganized by one of the world’s leading operator of rail cruises in Europe.
The tourist boarding a Golden Eagle Luxury train on a southbound itinerary crafted by the rail company passed through the Iranian border terminal Sarakhs in northeastern Iran.
The train, known as a 5-star hotel on wheels, once again hosts international tourists from many countries including the US as the European-based Golden Eagle Luxury Trains has already added Iran to its rail tour itineraries.
Golden Eagle Luxury train brought international tourists to Iran who took the company’s 18th-day trip titled "Persian Odyssey" in 2016.
The tour itinerary runs “along the Silk Road onto the ancient land of Persia; this unique journey between Moscow and Tehran takes in destinations that are rarely experienced by the Western visitor which makes it all the more special,” a post on the company’s website read, adding “Alternatively … the journey [starts] in Tashkent” if tourists prefers such option.
Annually, millions of international tourists visit various historical and cultural attractions of Iran.
